Preorders available for the new MINORARC album

Ivan’s new CD is just about cooked! He’s done a lovely job, all swirly synths and chugga chugga guitars.

I contributed a bunch of vocals. Brett of Sarcophony contributed a bunch of bass guitars. It includes remixes from Milkrun, Nigel J Moore and APR. I haven’t heard it all yet (Ivan’s keeping his cards close to his chest until the release date) but what I’ve heard is a bit exciting. 🙂

You can now pre order at the Dawn Industry Shop Here.

After the release date (26th November) there will also be a 320kbps mp3 download version of the album available for purchase, and a free 128kbps (lo-fi) stream.

Enzyme Tower tickets on sale today

Enzyme Tower @ Fringe Festival, 2nd October 2010

Yep!  Midday today the tickets for Melbourne’s Fringe Festival go on sale, and there’s no event at Fringe you want to go to as much as the Enzyme Tower!  I’ll be there playing a Cassandra’s Myth set as well as a Sarcophony set, and all our favourite Enzyme music/noise makers will be there too.

Tickets are cheap (20 bucks I think) but space is severely limited at our intimate little venue Blue Velvet, so if you’re planning on coming be quick about it!

Ongoing Maintenance released

Ongoing Maintenance (cover art)

The new remix album is finally done and available for you to download and enjoy at your leisure!

I have been JOYOUS about the quality of remixes I have received for this album.  It is a mixed bag, ranging from the serene but deeply groovy mix from classical beats producer Mystral Tide to the brutal crunchiness of our local doctor of distortion, BasticH.  I am lucky to have snuck out a mix from UK’s symphonic ambience master Nigel J Moore, plus the very clever IDM producer Milkrun from Sydney, and one of my favourite drum-tumbler-electro artists Alternate Parallel Reality from Queensland.  Also featuring are some talented friends from Enzyme events: a dirty rocking mix by metal industrial producer Sarcophony, and a energetic synth-electro remix by local drunkard The Unsound Project.

As usual, it’s free to download in its entirety from the downloads page.

1st gig with Sarcophony

I think it went well.  Sure is a lot of fun dishing out those chunky guitar riffs Brett is so good at writing!

For the Sarcophuninitiated: Sarcophony on MySpace, Sarcophony on YouTube.

About

Another new site!

My usual trick is to code up some flashy, poorly implemented, poorly supported graphic effects and THEN think about content.  Maybe it’s a reaction to building dull web front-ends at work?  Anyway, this time I’m starting with content.  🙂
