low the afterglow – 1 – full moon

locked the doors and boarded up the windows, but now those damned visitors from porlock are seeping in through the floor…! nevertheless, a lesson learned the hard way in the ICU is that the world marches on whether i am playing or no, so the time must always be now.

here’s track #1 of my most disjointed, least cohesive album yet; i guarantee it gives you, dear listener, no indication whatsoever of timbre or quality of the remaining tracks, which will be stuck up here each the minute they are finished. x

High Tide released

it’s time for me to release my new collection of songs…  release!  from my hands up into the big blue internet.  like a crumpled up dove that’s been in my coat pocket for a year.

as usual i’m a bit lost somewhere between genres.  pop songs, lots of electronics and acoustic guitar.  my friend Ivan of Minor Arc and my friend Brett of Sarcophony contributed a spot of keys and bass guitar.

anyhow, it’s a direction change for me.  i’d love to hear what you think of it.

grab it from the downloads page.

Ongoing Maintenance released

Ongoing Maintenance (cover art)

The new remix album is finally done and available for you to download and enjoy at your leisure!

I have been JOYOUS about the quality of remixes I have received for this album.  It is a mixed bag, ranging from the serene but deeply groovy mix from classical beats producer Mystral Tide to the brutal crunchiness of our local doctor of distortion, BasticH.  I am lucky to have snuck out a mix from UK’s symphonic ambience master Nigel J Moore, plus the very clever IDM producer Milkrun from Sydney, and one of my favourite drum-tumbler-electro artists Alternate Parallel Reality from Queensland.  Also featuring are some talented friends from Enzyme events: a dirty rocking mix by metal industrial producer Sarcophony, and a energetic synth-electro remix by local drunkard The Unsound Project.

As usual, it’s free to download in its entirety from the downloads page.
